Louise Hall<\/p><\/div>\n

Louise Hall is an Irish writer who lives in Malahide, Co. Dublin.<\/p>\n

Her first work of non-fiction, Medjugorje: What it Means to Me<\/strong>, was published by The Columba Press in 2012 and has been very widely received.<\/p>\n

She has written a second book, Medjugorje and Me<\/strong>, also published by Columba in 2014. \u00a0This book is a collection of testimonies and short stories from people all around the world, about their experiences of Medjugorje, and includes Louise’s own experiences from her visits. \u00a0Medjugorje and Me<\/strong> was also published in Italian by Edizioni Piemme in May 2016.<\/p>\n

Her first work of fiction, Pilgrim<\/strong>, was picked up by Mercier Press – Ireland’s oldest publishing house. \u00a0We are continuing our search for a publisher for her other yet to be published novels, For One<\/strong> Last Time<\/strong> and Beyond the Big House<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Aside from publishing her non-fiction books on Medjugorje, Louise has written for The Sunday Independent<\/em>, The Irish Independent<\/em>, Woman’s Way<\/em>, The Medjugorje Herald<\/em>, The Malahide Gazette<\/em> and The Irish News<\/em>. \u00a0She has also appeared on RTE – both on radio and television and has contributed to RTE Radio 1’s “The God Slot” program, doing book reviews, theatre reviews, interviews, and more.<\/p>\n

Louise has been shortlisted for the Colm Toibin International Short Story Competition 2016<\/em>, the Jonathan Swift Creative Writing Awards 2014<\/em> and long listed for the RTE Guide\/Penguin Short Story Awards<\/em> in 2014 and 2015.<\/p>\n

In November 2015, Louise was runner up for the New Talent Award<\/em> at the Love Stories Awards <\/em>which were held in London.<\/p>\n

In December 2016, The Irish Times<\/em> newspaper published her short story, ‘Frankie’s List’<\/strong> as part of their ’12 Stories of Christmas<\/strong>‘.<\/p>\n
