Lisa Hobman<\/p><\/div>\n

Lisa was born 1972 in Yorkshire, England. Her passion for writing began at a young age when she began to pen stories and poetry whilst at school. Nowadays she can be found tapping away at her laptop almost full time.<\/p>\n

When she takes a break from writing she spends time looking after her daughter and husband or walking her two canine companions. Throughout her adult life Lisa has worked in administration and assisted the running of a Homeless Charity. But after relocating with her family to Southern Scotland in 2012 she began to write her Scotland based debut novel, Bridge Over the Atlantic<\/strong> (published 2013).<\/p>\n

In 2014 the novel was shortlisted in the Contemporary Romance category of the Romantic Novelists Association RoNAs. This meant a trip to London for an awards ceremony where she had the opportunity to meet some of her favourite authors\u2014some of whom were also shortlisted in the same category.<\/p>\n

Three years after beginning her writing career in earnest Lisa now has a total of seven contemporary romance novels published\u2014several of which have become bestsellers on Amazon, iTunes and Barnes & Noble\u2014and one erotic romance under the pen name Lissa Jay.<\/p>\n

Her erotic debut, Bad Company<\/strong>, also hit the best selling eBook charts in the USA and the UK on Amazon and iTunes. Being a crafty and creative person, Lisa spends any spare time singing in a trio with a guitarist and drummer or making book related items to give away to her readers via her Facebook page.<\/p>\n

Lisa was offered a 3 book publishing deal from Caroline Ridding of Aria<\/a> an imprint of UK’s Head of Zeus. \u00a0Her books are\u00a0A Seaside Escape <\/strong>(October 2017),\u00a0\u00a0A Year of Finding Happiness <\/strong>(July 2018) and\u00a0What Becomes of the Broken Hearted<\/strong>\u00a0(September 2018). Her newest release,\u00a0A Summer of New Beginnings<\/strong>\u00a0(February 2019) was also picked up by Aria.<\/p>\n
