Michael Patrick Shiels has collaborated on titles with British golf broadcaster Ben Wright, real estate mogul Donald Trump, talk show host Larry King, and golf architect Arthur Hills.<\/p>\n

He authored \u201cGolf\u2019s Short Game For Dummies<\/strong>\u201d, and his biography of Hall of Fame radio host J.P. McCarthy was a regional bestseller and sported dust jacket endorsements from Frank Sinatra Jr., Elmore Leonard and others.<\/p>\n

His book, \u201cSecrets of the Great Golf Course Architects<\/strong>\u201d featured his interviews with Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and more.<\/p>\n

Shiels has written magazine articles for\u00a0Celebrated Living<\/em>,\u00a0Travel + Leisure<\/em>,\u00a0Northwest Airlines World Traveler<\/em>,\u00a0Delta Vacations<\/em>,\u00a0AAA Michigan Living<\/em>,\u00a0PGA Tour.com<\/em>,\u00a0Golf Magazine<\/em>,\u00a0LA<\/em>\u00a0Times<\/em>,\u00a0Bermuda Royal Gazette<\/em>, and various other international publications. He pens a Sunday print edition syndicated newspaper column read in various publications and on\u00a0http:\/\/www.TravelTattler.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Shiels also hosts an award winning syndicated morning radio and television show in Michigan\u00a0which\u00a0airs on 14 radio stations and one Fox TV affiliate. He has been named \u201cNetwork Radio Personality of the Year\u201d by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters six times.<\/p>\n
