Irish Times Bestseller, Caroline Busher is a writer living in County Wexford. She has recently completed an MA in Creative Writing in UCD where she received first class honors.
Caroline has signed a three book deal with Irish Publisher Poolbeg Press and the first of her YA novels – The Ghosts of Magnificent Children, was published in October 2016.
Over the past few years Caroline has achieved notable success as a writer. Caroline’s work first received recognition in 2013 when she was selected as a finalist in the Bord Gais Energy short story competition that was held in conjunction with TV3. In 2014 Caroline was awarded a Literature bursary from Wexford County Council and in the same year her work was published by O’Brien Press as part a competition held by the RTE Bookshow. In 2015 Caroline was long-listed for the RTE Guide/Penguin Ireland Short Story Competition.
Caroline is a curator for Wexford Literary Festival and has chaired panel discussions with other writers including Louise Phillips, Carmel Harrington, Rachael English and Claudia Carrol. Caroline also teaches creating writing courses to adults and children and facilitates creative writing workshops.
