About

Tracy Brennan is the founder and president of Trace Literary Agency, LLC. She received her B.A. from Indiana University’s College of Arts and Sciences and also received a certificate in secondary education from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. Before opening the agency, Tracy taught at the secondary level for over eleven years.

Tracy decided to pursue her career as a literary agent after she saw a gap in the American market. Having undergone a lengthy process of introduction and research, she was able to secure some of Ireland’s top contemporary writers, as well as writers from the UK and US.

Tracy has worked with Mercier Press, Ireland’s oldest independent publishing house, as well as publisher Jo O’Donoghue of Londubh Books in Dublin.

Tracy is also the US literary agent for Terry Prone’s the Communication Clinic.

Trace Literary Agency is a small agency which allows us to offer our clients the personal attention we feel they deserve. We pride ourselves in finding the perfect home for high quality, well written books.
