Literary Agent Tips for Submission

Include an introductory email, ensuring you are articulate, to the point and professional. Typos are not a good way to get my attention. Please include details of the work you are submitting, stating the genre and intended readership. If your work is of a similar genre to a well known author, please state this.

Also include a short blurb. This is your chance to pitch your story to me, so make sure that it is compelling. Take a look at the blurbs of bestselling books in your particular genre for ideas on how to write your own.

Include a little bit about yourself, in particular any key points that relate to your writing.

Good luck!
